Quality standards

Most suppliers describe quality with adjectives. We use three grades and state what is behind each one, so a buyer can price the difference instead of guessing at it. The same three grades appear on every product in the portal. They are not marketing tiers — they are what the factory actually builds.

  • Economy (E)

    Price-focused. Particleboard/MDF-heavy, low-density foam, basic workmanship.

  • Standard (S)

Core range. Mixed frame, mid-density foam, standard workmanship.

  • Premium (P)

Solid-wood frame, high-density foam, high-Martindale fabric, detailed workmanship.

Foam density, fabric rub count and panel thickness are stated on each product page. They differ by origin and by production line, so we publish the figure for the product you are actually buying — not a single number for the whole grade.

Economy Cost-driven construction. Reduced dimensions on wardrobes, dressers and nightstands, with fewer functions. Minimal upholstery on headboards. Applied decorative panels instead of profiled fronts. Edgebanding on visible sides only. Plastic legs. Low-density foam and entry-level fabric groups. Standard Full dimensions and complete functions. Profiled or foil-wrapped fronts, edgebanding on all four sides. Metal, lacquered wooden or designed ABS legs. LED lighting available on selected models. Mid-density foam and mid-range fabric groups. Premium Lacquered and high-gloss fronts, glass and decorative surfaces, designer handles. Upholstered detailing on headboards and fronts. Soft-close hardware throughout. Wider option range in finishes and configurations. High-density foam and upper fabric groups. Solid-wood elements on selected models — not the default definition of the grade. Foam density, fabric rub count and panel thickness are stated on each product page. They differ by origin and by production line, so we publish the figure for the product you are actually buying — not a single number for the whole grade. What this means on the shop floor An Economy wardrobe and a Premium wardrobe are not the same product at two prices. The difference is in the board, the front, the hardware and the packaging — and it shows within the first year of use. We tell you which one you are buying before you order, not after a claim. → Compare the three grades side by side → link /tools/quality-compare
